1. Introduction

**School Manager Pro** ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Windows desktop application collects, uses, and protects your information.

Key Point: We are an offline-first application. We do not operate a central server that collects your students' or employees' usage data. Your data remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to back it up to a cloud service.

2. Information We Collect

A. Local Data

The Application stores student records, employee records, financial data, and logs locally on your computer's hard drive (in the %AppData% directory). We do not have access to this data.

B. Device Information (Licensing)

To enforce our licensing policy, we generate a unique Device Fingerprint based on your hardware. This is anonymized via hashing and used locally to validate your license key. We do not store raw hardware IDs.

C. Google User Data

If you use the Cloud Backup feature, we access your Google Drive using the drive.appdata scope. This is a specific, hidden folder for our app. We use your email solely to display login status. We cannot view your other Google Drive files.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your data. Since your data is stored locally on your device, we do not have access to share it.
